We ''The People": Rain Light

[Preface: Whole city waited for rain for bringing calmness to blazing day. After the rain whole city witnessed the poor administration, road getting flooded car getting strangled. On a rainy day author faced the havoc on road which unsealed the faulty claim of administration about their readiness to deal with torrential raining]

I love rain and want to get wet as it gives sense of complete elation with no worries. When rain

water poured at me, all my concern flies away, wrinkle in my face disappears, shrank eye brow slowly gets large to steer for more fun, stiff and tightly folded fingers gets unfolded to make it large to put lots of joy in my arms. I was completely mesmerized by the performance of rain beautifying surroundings by bringing coolness to extremely deserted blazing day.

Take caution. My fun with rain drops didn’t last for long. Terrible and notorious traffic took away all my fun. It took 2 hrs to cover distance of roughly of 12 km which is just few minutes on the usual day. This was worse happened to me on the road when I was on the way back to home from office. At least I was lucky enough to make myself available on time at home for dinner; otherwise it seemed as if the traffic condition could be more terrible due to persistent raining.

Struggling through the water clogged roads my driver managed to station the car to the safest space on the road. To add to the trouble the red light stopped functioning. Sooner the road was in turmoil and was getting wilder due to unnecessary blow of horn. Due to lack of administration, things were utterly mismanaged. Everybody was trying to pass their vehicle from the chaos; this ultimately left no one to move further. All stuck into terrible jam which seems almost impossible to administer timely to get rid of the chaos.

I was near by domestic airport. Due to rain most of the people might have missed the scheduled flight. About 100 meters behind was an ambulance in red whistling light asking for the way so that it can rescue the patient from danger, but it was getting tough to survive the chaos.

As my driver was able to move car a bit farther I noticed some people fighting badly and shouting at each other. That was due to a car hitting the bike rider. Both car and bike rider was blaming each other for the mistakes. I couldn’t make it out who had committed mistake; but this turmoil on road left everyone anguished.

At last traffic started crawling, I took some deep breadth and got bit relaxed. But this time, the car in front of me suddenly stopped due to sudden breakdown and blocked the way for all vehicles behind my car. My driver stopped the car and looked back for the space to change the lane, but there was not even the needle space to move. There it was terrible disarray when all cars behind me started blowing horn putting noise to the whole atmosphere. It was very uneasy to bear it. I closed my ears but no relax was offered. Then I searched on my bag pocket for the ipod. I tuned on music to avoid the loud noise. Soon I had to get down and requested the people to keep patience and tried to get space for the car to change the lane.

There had always been problem with administration. Time an again government and municipalities were reminded by the members of society and media personals to do needful in order to minimize the damage caused by the weather changes. But government seemed reluctant for any development leaving them unprepared for providing havoc free ride on the road. While the rain brought relief for cities from the scorching summer heat, road traffic was badly halted in several parts of the city due to water-logging. Every time government claimed that they had repaired the water canal for avoiding water clogging. But most of time it proved to be wrong as this city finds it difficult to bear 1/2 hrs torrential rain. With no way to guide the rainwater, whole road gets flooded immediately. Most of the vehicle gets strangled on the road.

Other than havoc on road normal living gets disturbed due to power disruption in some parts of the city following rains, uprooting of trees. The civic agencies received a number of complaints
